David Buruchara

Hello there, and welcome! I’m a matchmaker and relationship coach with an entrepreneurial heart. I’m a third-generation Seventh-day Adventist and grew up as a third-culture kid, having lived in over 5 countries and now establishing roots in the Shenandoah Valley, USA.

My journey into matchmaking began with a heartbreak. When I first entered college, I was a naive romantic, believing that good intentions alone could sustain a relationship. It took a period of unintentionality and one regrettable decision to transform me from the “best” boyfriend to the worst.

After emerging from the wreckage of my past, I made it my mission to discover the key lessons in finding and nurturing successful relationships. Along the way, I crossed paths with Callie, another traveler on this journey, and fast forward four years into our marriage, our bond has shown me that it is indeed possible to find love that is fulfilling, nurturing, and profoundly connected.

If you’re reading this you likely believe that the Adventist dating space needs a refresh. The unfounded notion of simply waiting and praying for our Adam/Eve to magically appear at our doorstep is incompatible with our modern context. The dating algorithms don’t seem to work either.

Most people spend more time planning a trip than planning who they will spend the rest of their lives with. Few of us have been taught how to search for a spouse let alone where to find one. And judging by marriage statistics, we need a better way to find long-lasting love.

My goal as your matchmaker is to help you see the value of turning to a professional to help you find the kind of love and connection that not only enriches your life, but also contributes to your overall God-given purpose, well-being, and happiness.

Through compassionate guidance and support, and leveraging our growing database of SDA singles I aspire to help you uncover the patterns that may be keeping you from finding your ideal partner and matching you with compatible singles that go beyond your expectations.
